Ali is Wollongong born and bred & began dancing at 8yrs old and completed her HSC in contemporary dance at Wollongong High School of the Performing Arts.
She has an extensive dance background, a degree in Arts and Commerce (double Major in Communications and Management) and a diploma of Primary Education – yip she’s pretty special!! As a dancer she has performed on television, for Local, National and International sporting events including the Rugby World Cup & competed in State and National competitions. Ali has also taught quite extensively for the University Dance Club and held classes for students aged from 3 to over 30.
In 2010 she became a mum to the first of her three children and went from a dancer on a national level to a dancer in her lounge room. She has also been involved as a volunteer at a local playgroup with a mum’s n bubs music group and we are very lucky to have her with us at My Tiny Dancer. In Ali’s own words
“I now love rocking out in my lounge room with my 3 little ones that are 5yrs, 2.5yrs and 9mnths – busy!! I genuinely enjoy sharing my love of dance and movement with children and people of all ages and abilities, and hope that I can bring some of that fun into the classroom with your children“
